Description
Rare model N°12401 table lamp by Angelo Lelii. Produced by Arredoluce, Italy 1952.
The lamp boasts a metal structure in lacquered and polished brass, with the reflector in lacquered aluminum mounted on an arm with a spherical-shaped joint controlled by a telescopic tie-rod. The lamp base is made of wonderful white Carrara marble.
There is a floor version of this lamp which features the same ingenious mechanism and is equally hard to find.
The lamp is still in original vintage condition. The shade has a a few marks of paint loss, but no dents or other losses.
Angelo Lelii was an Italian designer and founder of the lighting company Arredoluce. He was known for his innovative and avant-garde designs, particularly in the mid-20th century.
Arredoluce was a prominent Italian lighting manufacturer during the mid-20th century, and their pieces are highly regarded for their craftsmanship and design
