Impressive abstract sculpture by André Ramseyer
Cast bronze, signed Ramseyer 1978, numbered 4/10.
André Ramseyer (1914-2007) was one of the most important Swiss sculptors and his works have been widely exhibited both nationally and internationally.
In 1957 Ramseyer won the prize of the international sculpture exhibition in Carrara, Italy.
In 1962 one of his sculptures entitled "Escale" enters the permanent collection of the Centre George Pompidou in Paris.
