Description
Fantasma Piccolo resin cocoon floor lamp by Tobia Scarpa for Flos, 1963.
The Fantasma PIccolo is a beautiful lighting sculpture both lit and off and it remains in absolutely stunning condition which is rarely seen on these lamps.
The first lamp designed in "cocoon" resin was the Taraxacum pendant lamp by Achille Castiglione in 1961.
The Italian word "Fantasma" means ghost which refers to the almost evanescent effect done by the shape and material used in the lamp.
The dimming device allows to create the right intensity for the environment or the required atmosphere.
