Description
The Getsuen or Lily lounge chair was designed by Japanese designer Masanori Umeda during the 1990s.
Masanori Umeda has worked together with Ettore Sottsass during the 1980s at Olivetti in Milan, where he designed his best known piece; the Tawaraya boxing ring (still available from Memphis-Milano).
This unique hair boasts a heavy but invisible steel structure with foam padding and the original dark red velvet upholstery.
The Getsuen is in good original condition with minor abrasions on the fabric consistent of age and use.
The chair has still the original green wheels.
