Description
Floor lamp by Carlo Nason for AV Mazzega, Italy 1968
The floor lamp is composed of a white lacquered metal structure with 14 square pieces of thick opalescent and "lattimo" (white) glass.
The glass squares are nested on top of each other while flat round metal disks make sure the weight of the squares is distributed accordingly.
This sculptural floor lamp shares the same characteristics with its nested glass pieces than the LT316 by Carlo Nason.
It is certainly one of the most spectacular lamps by Carlo Nason and hard to find in this height and condition.
All in a all it is a real-eye catcher whether illuminated or not.
