Editor Dambrinne, France 1960
Description Dry bar cabinet designed by M. Vuillermoz produced by Dambrinne, France around 1960.

This amazingly decorative dry bar is composed of a polyhedron shaped central sphere which sits on a tripod shaped base.

The polyhedron is composed of triangular wooden elements shaped to form a pentagon. The pentagonal elements which form the polyhedron are beautifully executed in mahogany wood.

The dry bar presents three foldable pentagonal elements which are brass plated on the inside and could be used as trays for glasses for example.

The inside of the bar is composed two levels covered in red vinyl leather which can accommodate bottles and glasses.

The bar boasts beautiful brass details such as the hinges that open the flaps, the interior brass railing which holds the bottles in place as well as the rectangular and angle shaped brass plated elements on the tripod base.

The hexagonal brass plated screws attach the polyhedron to the base which seems like suspended in the air.
