Postmodern "Palm Spring" floor lamp by Matteo Thun Ed. Tronconi, Italy 1989.
Drawing inspiration from the Californian desert town Palm Springs famous for its palm trees this rare floor lamp is composed of a series of stacked conical elements flared towards the top. The conical base as well as the stacked elements are in silver grey lacquered metal.
There are two light sources.
A powerful source located in the base sends a light beam through the different elements to create a gorgeous lighting effect.
The second source is situated in the last element at the top and serves as an uplighter.
The lamp is in a very good condition with only light user marks and is fully functional ready to be used.
