Description
The iconic "Africa" chair which was part of the "Artona" line is the result of the marriage of an sophisticated formal design by Afra and Tobia Scarpa with the excellence of craftmanship of the Maxalto company.
Until the early 90's Afra and Tobia Scarpa have been intimately linked to this Maxalto who produced among others their "New Harmony" and "Artona" furniture line which greatly contributed to the success of the company which name means "the highest".
The hand stitched leather seats have been redone in Italy by the same craftsman that was in charge for the upholstery of the "Africa" chairs for Maxalto, using the highest quality of leather.
This set of chairs is in a absolutely stunning condition.
