"Tycho" wall shelf by the Italian artist and architect Manfredo Massironi.
With his unique scientific approach Massironi is one of the leading figures in kinetic art in the 1970's. The shelf is named after one of the most famous astronomers of the 16th Century Tycho Brahe.
This stunning wall shelf is composed of 7 vertical and 7 horizontal interlocking shelves in black lacquered plywood. The shelf is fixed to the wall with two screws only.
The shelf creates a strong visual impact as it literally seems to grow out of the wall and is truly impressive from any angle of vision.
Our Tycho shelf is in fantastic condition with only minor wear which is rarely seen for this piece in lacquered wood.
