Description This a great exemplary of the iconic "Taraxacum" pendant lamp by Achille and Piero Castiglioni for Flos around 1960.

Inspired by the shape of the dandelion flower this lamp was the first result of a series of experiments to apply a cocoon resin to a filigrane metal structure which resulted in the Viscontea designs as well as the Nuvola by Tobia Scarpa.

Very rare to find in this great condition without any tears the lamp has maintained a magnificent patina both illuminated and not.

Pendant height with cable is 90 cm but the cable can be extended on request.
